Following some successful beginners courses, our junior section is up and running. Many thanks to Elaine, our Head Junior Coach, for getting this off the ground.

Our next junior beginners course is due to start on Sunday 24th January 2010. The course will consist of 8x 1 hour sessions and costs £40. This covers the use of equipment, coaching, study guide, hall-hire etc. The age group for the course will be 9-12 years old. Children aged 13 and over can join our next senior beginners course which is being planned to start at the same time. All of our coaches are registered with our National Governing Bodies (British Fencing/England Fencing Ltd), hold Enhanced CRB Clearance, have attended Safeguarding and Protecting Children courses and are First Aid qualified. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the sessions from the viewing gallery of the Main Hall where we meet.
